First Swim

We all needed some time out of the house away from the boxes and unpacking. The munchkins had been begging to try out the lagoon pool here. They wanted to be the first in the new pool. As they are all keen swimmers and compete most weekends with one of the local swim teams so I can understand their excitement at being let loose in this one - just for fun!

Even though we had the keys for a couple of weeks the pool was not allowed to be used before the 1st day of occupancy - yesterday the 1st of April. We were too late and tired last night after the move and going to a dinner do to make it for a swim.

I will let the photo's tell the story of their first official dip in the new pool. Funny how your childrens characters come out in photos.

Ok, my turn!

As for me, I happily lay on the sun lounger under the thatched shade watching beneath the gently swaying palms as my children relaxed, swam to their hearts content and enjoyed this momentous occasion.

Sounds like bliss huh? Shame I had to come home.

Taking a break this week to get the house in order. I will be back soon with photo's of the progress.
